A vulnerability in the BuddyPress plugin for WordPress prior to version 14.5.0 allows unauthorized access to private messages by permitting users with a Subscriber role or higher to view, edit, and remove messages intended for others. This occurs due to inadequate authorization controls on messaging endpoints. As a result, sensitive information can be compromised.
