CVE-2026-56006

The H5P plugin for WordPress contains a security flaw that allows malicious code to be injected into pages through a technique called Reflected Cross-Site Scripting, which occurs when the plugin fails to properly filter and display user input in versions prior to 1.17.7. This vulnerability can be exploited by an attacker who tricks a user into performing a specific action, such as clicking on a link. As a result, arbitrary web scripts can be executed without requiring authentication.
