The Cornerstone plugin for WordPress contains a security flaw in versions up to 7.8.8, which allows malicious users with at least subscriber-level access to inject unauthorized SQL code into database queries. This occurs because the plugin fails to properly sanitize user input and does not adequately prepare existing SQL statements. As a result, attackers can exploit this vulnerability to extract confidential data from the site's database.
