CVE-2026-4658
The Essential Blocks plugin for WordPress contains a security flaw affecting all versions up to 6.0.4. The issue arises from the render_callback() function's failure to properly sanitize input when inserting className, classHook, and blockId attributes into HTML tags via sprintf() and implode(). As a result, authenticated users with Contributor-level access or higher can inject malicious scripts that will be executed whenever an affected page is accessed.
