CVE-2026-18400
A WordPress plugin called MetaSlider has a security flaw in its handling of user-input data. In versions up to 3.111.0, the plugin fails to properly filter and display certain settings, making it possible for users with author-level access or above to inject malicious code into pages that can be executed by other visitors. This issue is due to the plugin's registration of a custom post type without adequate security restrictions, allowing attackers to exploit vulnerabilities through XML-RPC requests.
Based on public CVE data (MITRE/NVD).
