CVE-2026-16597

The GTM4WP plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows an attacker to inject malicious JavaScript code into the website. This occurs when the plugin's integration with WooCommerce is enabled and a guest checkout order is placed with a specially crafted JavaScript payload in a billing field, such as the first name. The injected code can then be executed by any user who accesses the page, regardless of their authentication status. The vulnerability is due to inadequate input validation and output sanitization in the plugin.
