CVE-2025-13738
The Easy Table of Contents plugin for WordPress contains a security flaw that allows malicious code injection through the `ez-toc` shortcode in all versions prior to 2.0.78 due to inadequate filtering of user-submitted data. As a result, authenticated users with contributor-level access or higher can embed arbitrary scripts on pages that will run when visited by other users. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to sites using affected plugin versions.
