CVE-2025-12654
The WPvivid Backup & Migration plugin for WordPress contains a flaw affecting all versions up to 0.9.120, allowing an attacker with administrator privileges to create new directories at will. The issue arises from the check_filesystem_permissions function not adequately limiting directory creation permissions or locations. As a result, attackers can exploit this vulnerability to create arbitrary directories on the affected system.
