CVE-2024-8979
The Essential Addons for Elementor plugin, up to version 6.0.9, is susceptible to sensitive information exposure through the 'init_content_lostpassword_user_email_controls' function. Authenticated attackers with Author-level access or higher can exploit this vulnerability to retrieve usernames and passwords, even from Administrators, if the affected user views a password reset email and images are not blocked in their email client.
