CVE-2024-8799
The Custom Banners plugin for WordPress contains a security flaw in its URL handling mechanism. Specifically, the add_query_arg function is used without proper sanitization, allowing malicious actors to inject JavaScript code via reflected cross-site scripting attacks. This vulnerability affects all versions of the plugin up to and including 3.3.
