CVE-2024-8378
The Safe SVG plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability through SVG files uploaded by users with author-level access or higher. This flaw arises from inadequate filtering of input data and insufficient protection against malicious code injection. As a result, attackers can embed arbitrary scripts in SVG files that will run whenever the file is accessed by another user.
