CVE-2024-5605
The Media Library Assistant plugin contains a time-based SQL injection vulnerability in the mla_tag_cloud shortcode's 'order' parameter affecting versions up to 3.16. The flaw stems from inadequate escaping of user input and improper query preparation. Attackers with contributor privileges or higher can inject malicious SQL code to execute arbitrary database queries and extract sensitive data.
