CVE-2024-5583
The Plus Addons for Elementor plugin through version 5.6.2 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability affecting the testimonials widget's carousel_direction parameter. Authenticated users with contributor privileges or higher can inject malicious scripts into pages by exploiting inadequate sanitization and escaping of user-supplied attributes. When other users visit pages containing the injected code, the malicious scripts execute in their browsers. The vulnerability has been addressed in version 5.6.3.
