CVE-2024-5531
The Ocean Extra plugin is vulnerable to stored cross-site scripting in its Flickr widget through version 2.2.8 because it fails to properly sanitize and escape user-supplied widget attributes. Authenticated users with contributor-level permissions or higher can exploit this flaw to inject malicious scripts that execute when other users view affected pages. The vulnerability has been patched in version 2.2.9.
