CVE-2024-5502
The Piotnet Addons For Elementor plugin through version 2.4.30 contains a stored cross-site scripting flaw affecting its Image Accordion, Dual Heading, and Vertical Timeline widgets. Attackers with contributor-level permissions or higher can exploit inadequate sanitization and escaping of user-controlled attributes to insert malicious scripts into pages. These injected scripts execute whenever visitors view the affected pages, allowing attackers to perform actions on behalf of users who view the compromised content.
