CVE-2024-5427
The WPCafe Restaurant Menu and Online Food Ordering System plugin for WordPress contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in its Reservation Form shortcode affecting versions up to 2.2.24. The flaw stems from the plugin's failure to properly sanitize and escape user-supplied shortcode attributes, allowing attackers with contributor-level permissions or higher to embed malicious scripts into pages. When site visitors load pages containing the injected code, the scripts execute in their browsers, posing a security risk to the website.
