CVE-2024-5416
The Elementor Website Builder plugin for WordPress contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability affecting versions up to 3.23.4, where the url parameter in multiple widgets fails to properly sanitize input and escape output on user-controlled attributes. Authenticated users with contributor privileges or higher can exploit this flaw to inject malicious scripts into Elementor Editor pages. A partial fix was released in version 3.23.2, with a complete resolution available in version 3.24.0 and later.
