CVE-2024-5317
The Newsletter plugin for WordPress allows unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious scripts through the 'np1' parameter in versions 8.3.4 and earlier. The vulnerability exists because the plugin fails to properly sanitize input and escape output on this parameter. An attacker can store arbitrary JavaScript code that will run when users visit affected pages, creating a stored cross-site scripting attack.
