CVE-2024-5289
The Kadence Blocks plugin for WordPress contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in its Google Maps widget that affects versions up to 3.2.42. Attackers with Contributor privileges or higher can inject malicious scripts through insufficiently sanitized widget parameters, which then execute for anyone viewing the affected page. The vulnerability stems from inadequate input validation and output encoding in the Google Maps feature. The issue is fixed in version 3.2.43.
