CVE-2024-50461

The EmbedPress plugin for WordPress contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in versions 4.0.14 and earlier, caused by inadequate sanitization of inputs and insufficient escaping of outputs. Attackers with contributor-level permissions or higher can inject malicious scripts into pages, which will run for any user viewing those pages. This vulnerability has been patched in version 4.1.0.
