CVE-2024-49593
The Advanced Custom Fields plugin through version 6.3.8 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in ACF field labels caused by inadequate sanitization of input and escaping of output. An authenticated administrator can inject malicious scripts that execute when other users view affected pages, though this vulnerability only manifests in multisite WordPress installations or those with unfiltered_html disabled. The issue has been patched in version 6.3.9 and later.
