CVE-2024-4634

The Elementor Header & Footer Builder plugin contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the hfe_svg_mime_types function affecting versions through 1.6.28. Attackers with contributor access or higher permissions can inject malicious scripts into pages because the plugin fails to properly sanitize inputs and escape outputs. When visitors view pages containing the injected code, the scripts execute in their browsers. The vulnerability was patched in version 1.6.29.
