CVE-2024-4575
The LayerSlider plugin for WordPress contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in versions before 7.11.1 affecting the ls_search_form shortcode. Authenticated users with at least contributor-level permissions can inject malicious scripts through insufficiently sanitized shortcode attributes, which then execute in the browsers of anyone viewing the compromised page. The flaw stems from inadequate input validation and output encoding of user-supplied data.
