CVE-2024-4542
The Shortcodes Ultimate plugin for WordPress contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability affecting versions 7.1.1 and earlier in its su_lightbox shortcode functionality. Attackers with contributor privileges or higher can exploit inadequate sanitization and escaping of user-supplied shortcode attributes to inject malicious scripts into pages. These injected scripts execute for any user who views the affected page, and the vulnerability was fixed in version 7.1.2.
