CVE-2024-4316
The EmbedPress plugin for WordPress versions up to 3.9.16 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the 'id' parameter caused by inadequate sanitization of user input and lack of proper output escaping. Authenticated users with contributor privileges or higher can inject malicious scripts into pages, which then execute when other users view those pages. The vulnerability was fixed in version 3.9.17.
