CVE-2024-4266
The MetForm plugin for WordPress versions through 3.8.8 contains a flaw in the 'handle_file' function that permits unauthenticated users to access and retrieve sensitive data from files that have been uploaded to the system, including personal information submitted by users. An attacker could exploit this weakness to view files without proper authorization. The vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 3.8.8, and users should upgrade to version 3.8.9 or later to remediate the issue.
