CVE-2024-4208
The Kadence Blocks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to stored cross-site scripting through the typer effect feature in its advanced heading widget, affecting all versions up to and including 3.2.37. The vulnerability stems from improper sanitization of user-supplied attributes and inadequate output escaping, allowing contributors and higher-privileged users to inject malicious scripts into pages. When other users view affected pages, the injected scripts execute in their browsers. Upgrading to version 3.2.38 or later resolves this issue.
