CVE-2024-4156
The Essential Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress through version 5.9.17 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the eael_event_text_color parameter that allows authenticated users with contributor access or higher to inject malicious scripts into pages. The flaw stems from inadequate sanitization of input data and insufficient escaping of output. When visitors view a page containing the injected code, the malicious scripts execute in their browsers. The vulnerability was fixed in version 5.9.18.
