CVE-2024-3974
The BuddyPress plugin through version 12.4.0 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the 'user_name' parameter caused by inadequate sanitization and escaping of user input. Attackers with subscriber-level access or higher can exploit this flaw to inject malicious scripts that execute when other users view affected pages. The vulnerability was patched in version 12.4.1.
