CVE-2024-33691
The OptinMonster plugin for WordPress contains a Cross-Site Request Forgery vulnerability affecting versions up to and including 2.15.3, stemming from inadequate nonce verification in the validate_please_connect_notice_dismiss() function. Unauthenticated attackers can exploit this flaw to dismiss administrative notices by crafting malicious requests, provided they successfully deceive a site administrator into clicking a malicious link. The vulnerability was resolved in version 2.16.0.
