CVE-2024-3285
The MetaSlider plugin for WordPress contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in its metaslider shortcode affecting versions up to 3.70.0, caused by inadequate sanitization and escaping of user-supplied shortcode attributes. Authenticated users with contributor permissions or higher can inject malicious scripts into pages through this shortcode, and these scripts will run whenever anyone views the affected page. The vulnerability was fixed in version 3.70.1.
