CVE-2024-3245
The EmbedPress plugin for WordPress versions up to 3.9.14 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in its Youtube block component. Authenticated users with contributor privileges or higher can inject malicious scripts through insufficiently sanitized block attributes, which will then execute for anyone viewing the affected pages. The vulnerability stems from a failure to properly sanitize inputs and escape outputs in the plugin's handling of user-supplied data.
Based on public CVE data (MITRE/NVD).
