CVE-2024-3233
The Ivory Search plugin for WordPress contains a missing capability verification in its ajax_create_index() function, affecting versions 5.5.5 and earlier. This flaw permits any authenticated user with subscriber privileges or higher to initiate index creation without proper authorization checks. The vulnerability exposes the plugin to unauthorized data modification through an AJAX request made by low-privileged attackers. The issue was resolved in version 5.5.6.
