CVE-2024-31264
The Post Views Counter plugin for WordPress contains a cross-site request forgery vulnerability in versions before 1.4.5 that could enable attackers to trick authenticated users with elevated privileges into performing unintended actions. Security researcher Brandon Roldan identified and disclosed this flaw, which was subsequently remedied in version 1.4.5. Users should upgrade their installations to the patched version to eliminate the risk.
