The Interactive Content – H5P plugin for WordPress before version 1.15.8 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability affecting SVG file uploads. Attackers with Contributor-level permissions or higher can upload malicious SVG files containing arbitrary JavaScript code due to improper sanitization and escaping of user input. When any user accesses these infected SVG files, the injected scripts execute in their browser. The vulnerability is present in all versions through 1.15.7 and is resolved in version 1.15.8.
