CVE-2024-2972
The Chaty plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 3.1.8 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the cht_social_Whatsapp[bg_color] parameter caused by inadequate sanitization and escaping of user input. Authenticated users with editor-level permissions or higher can exploit this flaw to inject malicious scripts into pages, which then execute when other users view those pages. The vulnerability was addressed in version 3.1.9.
