CVE-2024-2866
The Kadence Blocks plugin for WordPress contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in its Advanced Form widget affecting versions 3.2.25 and earlier. Authenticated users with contributor privileges or higher can inject malicious scripts through insufficiently sanitized attributes like placeholder text, which then execute when other users view the affected page. The vulnerability stems from a lack of proper input validation and output encoding on user-controlled form parameters. Upgrading to version 3.2.26 or later resolves this issue.
