CVE-2024-2784

The Plus Addons for Elementor plugin contains a stored cross-site scripting flaw in its Hover Card widget affecting versions 5.5.4 and earlier. Attackers with contributor-level or higher permissions can inject malicious scripts into pages by exploiting inadequate sanitization and escaping of widget attributes. When users visit pages containing the injected code, the malicious scripts execute in their browsers. The vulnerability was resolved in version 5.5.5.
