CVE-2024-2744
The NextGEN Gallery plugin for WordPress contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in its admin settings affecting versions up to and including 3.59, resulting from inadequate sanitization of inputs and escaping of outputs. Administrators and higher-level authenticated users can inject malicious scripts that execute when other users view affected pages. This vulnerability only impacts multi-site WordPress installations or single-site setups where the unfiltered_html capability has been disabled. The issue is resolved in version 3.59.1 and later.
