CVE-2024-2506
The Popup Builder plugin for WordPress contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in its custom JavaScript feature that affects versions 4.2.7 and earlier. Attackers with contributor-level permissions or higher can inject malicious scripts through insufficiently sanitized user attributes, allowing these scripts to execute when site visitors access affected pages. The vulnerability stems from a lack of proper input validation and output encoding of user-supplied data.
