CVE-2024-2477
The wpDiscuz plugin for WordPress contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in versions up to 7.6.15 affecting the Alternative Text field when images are uploaded. The flaw stems from inadequate sanitization of user input and improper escaping of output, allowing authenticated users with author-level permissions or higher to inject malicious scripts that execute when other users view the affected pages. This vulnerability was fixed in version 7.6.16.
