CVE-2024-2342
The Simply Schedule Appointments plugin for WordPress contains a SQL injection vulnerability in versions 1.6.7.7 and earlier affecting the customer_id parameter. Authenticated users with at least contributor-level permissions can exploit this flaw by inserting malicious SQL code into the vulnerable parameter due to inadequate input escaping and query preparation. This allows attackers to execute arbitrary database queries and potentially access sensitive data stored in the WordPress database. The vulnerability was patched in version 1.6.7.9.
