CVE-2024-2159
The Sassy Social Share plugin for WordPress versions up to 3.3.60 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability affecting its shortcode functionality. Attackers with contributor-level permissions or higher can insert malicious scripts through unfiltered shortcode attributes, which then execute for all users who view the affected pages. The flaw stems from inadequate sanitization of user inputs and improper escaping of output data. This vulnerability was fixed in version 3.3.61.
Based on public CVE data (MITRE/NVD).
