The EmbedPress plugin for WordPress before version 3.9.11 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in its embed widget that allows authenticated users with contributor privileges or higher to inject malicious scripts into pages through insufficiently sanitized and unescaped widget attributes. When other users view pages containing the injected code, the scripts execute in their browsers, potentially compromising site security and user data.
