CVE-2024-1854
The Essential Blocks plugin for Gutenberg contains a cross-site scripting flaw in versions prior to 4.5.2 that could allow an attacker to inject arbitrary scripts into a website. When site visitors access pages containing the injected code, those scripts would execute in their browsers, potentially enabling malicious redirects, advertisement injection, or other HTML-based attacks. The vulnerability was identified by Wordfence and has been patched in version 4.5.2 and later.
