CVE-2024-1428

The Element Pack Elementor Addons plugin for WordPress contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the Trailer Box widget's 'element_pack_wrapper_link' attribute affecting versions up to 5.5.3. Attackers with contributor access or higher can inject malicious scripts into pages because the plugin fails to properly sanitize inputs and escape outputs. When users visit pages containing the injected code, the scripts execute in their browsers, potentially compromising site security and user data.
