CVE-2024-1392
The Addon Elements for Elementor plugin contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the Dual Button widget's 'button1_icon' attribute affecting versions up to 1.12.12. The flaw stems from inadequate sanitization of input and escaping of output, allowing authenticated users with contributor-level permissions or higher to inject malicious scripts into pages. When other users view the affected pages, the injected scripts execute in their browsers.
