CVE-2024-13860
The Buddyboss Platform plugin for WordPress versions 2.8.50 and earlier contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability through the 'bbp_topic_title' parameter caused by inadequate sanitization and escaping of user input. An authenticated attacker with subscriber-level permissions or higher can inject malicious scripts that persist in the database and execute when other users view the affected content. A partial fix was implemented in version 2.8.41, with a complete resolution available in version 2.8.51.
