CVE-2024-13858
The BuddyBoss Platform plugin contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the invitee_name parameter affecting versions through 2.8.50, caused by inadequate input sanitization and output escaping. Authenticated users with subscriber-level privileges or higher can inject malicious scripts that execute when other users view affected pages. While a partial fix was applied in version 2.8.41, complete remediation requires updating to version 2.8.51 or later.
