CVE-2024-1349

The EmbedPress plugin for WordPress versions up to 3.9.8 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in its shortcode functionality. Attackers with contributor-level or higher permissions can inject malicious scripts through insufficiently sanitized and unescaped shortcode attributes, which execute when other users view the affected pages. This flaw was resolved in version 3.9.9.
